The Vision

A steeply sloped lot overlooking rolling hills called for an organic approach. Rather than fight the grade, we let the freeform pool follow the natural contours and used native boulders to knit it into the landscape.

A generous tanning shelf steps gently into the deep end, and a stacked-stone waterfall provides both movement and the sound of water throughout the yard.

Working With the Land

Careful grading and retaining work let us preserve the hillside views while creating a level entertaining area. The result feels less like a built pool and more like a spring that has always belonged here.
